Alice Caird

Alice is a partner and has been working
at Timpany Walton for eleven years.

Alice specialises in conveyancing and commercial law, which includes residential sales and purchases, business and farm sales and purchases, company formations and advice, as well as advice regarding trust formation and the making of wills and agreements under the Property (Relationships) Act.

In her study of law she had a keen interest in the area of litigation and the principle of advocacy is one that she promotes in her on-going practice.

“Events that bring people to the firm often involve major transitions in their lives” says Alice, “managing the legal work in a personal way with a view to the bigger picture can help people through these transitions.”

Alice is married. When not at work she most enjoys taking her young daughter, Emily, walking. Or else having some quiet time reading; she loves books. “Timaru” says Alice “ is small enough to have a great community feel, yet large enough to have good facilities. It is a good location.”

Alice is a trustee of the YWCA Bursary Trust.
