Maarten Dirkzwager

Maarten joined Timpany Walton in 2004 as a solicitor and is now a Partner

Maarten has worked at Timpany Walton since 2004. He practises in the areas of company and commercial law, property law, employment law, trust, estate and asset planning and civil litigation and dispute resolution.

Maarten grew up in Timaru, completing his secondary education at Timaru Boys’ High School. After graduating from Canterbury University with a first class honours degree in law in 2000, Maarten spent four years living and working in Europe, with a break in between when he was admitted as a barrister and solicitor in Wellington in 2002. In 2004 he returned to Timaru and joined Timpany Walton. He was appointed an Associate in August 2008 and became a Partner in May 2010.

Outside of work Maarten enjoys playing and watching football, tramping, hunting, exercising his dog and spending time with his family.
