Charlotte grew up in Timaru and studied at Otago University. She was admitted to the bar in 2001. Prior to joining Timpany Walton in 2006 she worked in Central Otago, gaining experience in general legal practice and had some time overseas.Charlotte was admitted to the bar in 2001 and joined Timpany Walton in 2006

The area of litigation attracted her when studying law. She realises the importance of the role of advocacy and has a passion for dealing with people. Charlotte practises in all areas of family law including care of children, Lawyer for Child, domestic violence and relationship property, and also in criminal law including youth advocacy, civil litigation and employment law.

Outside of work, Charlotte has a number of interests, including snow and water skiing. She is on the Board of Trustees and Honorary Solicitor for Creative Corner and Secretary of the Family Court Association. Charlotte also enjoys time with her own family.
