Timpany Walton News
A year of ups and downs
We hope that this edition of Connect will provide further articles of interest and benefit to your business.
The last year has seen New Zealand affected by more natural disasters, with the most notable being the devastating Christchurch earthquake in February, whilst still grappling with a challenging economic environment. On the other hand, New Zealanders have had the opportunity to come together to support not only the hosting of the World Cup, but also the World Cup winning All Blacks. Whilst the natural disasters have put many things, including rugby, in perspective, they have also acted as a reminder for us to appreciate what we have and to make the most of the opportunities that come our way.
The continuing challenging economic climate has not been doom and gloom for all.
Many businesses have had the opportunity to thrive and many have indeed taken that opportunity. No matter whether your business is thriving or simply surviving, in demanding times such as these it is more important than ever to do things right, which includes obtaining the right advice, at the right time from the right people.
Timpany Walton remains committed to continuing to provide its clients with timely, high quality and practical legal advice. The success of Timpany Walton is founded on its partners and staff and it is therefore pleased to announce the arrival of two new solicitors to the firm, with Laura Lock joining Tony Shaw, Charlotte Clifford and Jess Shaw in the litigation team and Stephanie Craig joining Richard Walton, Grant Proudfoot, Alice Caird, Maarten Dirkzwager, Michelle Broadhurst and Janyne Hooke in the commercial/property team.
